I want some, but haven't bought yet.

Zabteck co-owned by Todd Z (member here and owner of other site) sells them. I like them, just haven't gotten around to getting one.

Can probably get them for half the price on Ebay, that Zabtech guy is way overpriced!

I've heard a lot of complaints about some of the LED's burning out prematurely, and seen that first hand too. Don't know which brand that is or if it's all brands. We have some LED lights at work I was looking at as an alternative to the Line-of-fire type lights. I'll post a link to them later.

These are about $15 each: http://www.maxxima.com/products/product_detail/43/M63318R%20Surface%20Mount%20Stop/Tail/Turn%20Strip%20Light/view/.html

What is "line of fire"?

korey08XLT- 01-06-2010

Eh? I think it's a fad that will fade out in a year or so -- along with the stick-on portholes/fender vents...

you could always go to www.oznium.com and create your own light bar with different colors and sizes, you just have to splice into your taillight power

Hello......... Line-of-fire is a brand name of the lights this post is about........

Doesn't it affect the hole for the spare mount retractor if it covers it up??

I considered getting one too but saw that the hole was right in the middle underneath the tailgate so that's what made me not get it.

stonemiser- 01-07-2010

TN, most mount them to the lip of the rear bumper, under the tailgate. They say it doesn't interfere with the spare access.

I'd like to see close up pics of that...

stonemiser- 01-07-2010

There are pics in this write-up about how to mount it.
