Won't throw codes. What probably happened was you replaced an O2 sensor along with the install. I'll see what I can do about a sound clip.

hawk the clip that stonemiser put up sounds about right. this muffler isn't something that you can hear four blocks away and will make people run thinking its a tank or something. it will sound very nice in idle and when you floor it. I did and still feel better acceleration under the foot and compared to other stock STs it sounds a oh heck of a lot better than the stock muffler. It does give a deep sound and with the aftermarket resonator tip you get that nice ruffle sound. If I could do it again I would still get the thrush but get the dual exhaust.

and by the way I have seen the thrush welded on ebay for just 30 bucks.

Thanks nobounce. yeah I don't want anything crazy to wake up the neighborhood getting married soon so the mrs. won't like it much and a baby will surely be around soon after so just want a nicer tone and a little more horsies and a little bit on fuel.

Then for you, Thrush is the way to go. Low price and nice sound.

So the thrush is in. I found it online for 29.99 so took the page to advance and they said sure we honor it. So got it for 30 bucks went across the street and told them i needed a muffler put on. Sure wait a minute a few later they told me to bring it around back they torched the old piece and welded on the new one with a new piece, cost me twenty five at the shop so all done for less than sixty. So all in all was a productive day. Also kicked the kids out today so they are all on summer vacay. Yes, but still got stuff to do. The muffler sounds great but I am sure it has a little breaking in to do first so we will see after a couple hundred miles. Thanks for all the help.
