Are you SURE they're supposed to be UNDER the plastic bed caps? These look just like the brackets for mine. Is this what yours are?

These are mine. I need one short clamp to be able to install mine.

I emailed Extang this morning to find out how to order it. Extang has really good support. http://www.extang.com/talk.html

That doesn't look like a Zhu Zhu pet.

Yeah we kinda got off topic here, sorry. Looks like there's a better chance of getting tonneau brackets than Zhu Zhu Hamsters though. I've looked for the little rodents in two Wally Worlds and even checked in Tractor Supply while I was there. S.O.L. so far.

None at my Target. I will be at Walmart -- Friday morning 5:00. I'll check then!

stonemiser- 11-24-2009

Yep, still none around here at all. Maybe I just need to get some new Tonneau cover brackets.

with a little paint, kids can be fooled.

ncranchero- 12-07-2009

Well now they're saying the Zhu Zhu pet is a nasty little contaminator.  Maybe you're better off not finding them for the kiddies!

korey08XLT- 12-07-2009

^ Yes -- I've been hearing that a lot also.

I'm guessing a recall will be coming.

They are safe now again. No need to worry -- when they become available in March:)

Zhu Zhu Pets In Stock At Some Metro Stores
There's little hope...

http://www.kctv5.com/news/22002752/detail.html

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The Zhu Zhu Pet, the hottest holiday toy of the season, is finally available at several area stores after one national retailer sent shipments of the toy to all stores.

Zhu Zhu Pets are electronic hamsters that move around on their own and can move through different environments that are sold separately.

When the toys have been available in Kansas City stores, many parents have come to learn which day stores receive their shipments. However, closer to Christmas several Toys' R' Us stores have sent e-mails to customers saying they have 100 of the toys in stock at each store.

At the Overland Park Toys R' Us location, more than 20 shoppers lined up before 6 a.m. to try to get the hard-to-find toys. Those customers were handed coupons as they walked in the door that secured their chance to get a Zhu Zhu Pet.

The toys have sold for more than three times their retail price on sites like eBay and Craigslist.

We have decided to can that idea. No way was I going to pay that much on E-Bay and the places that had them for "Black Fri." let the lines get so long for so few. My kids haven't even mentioned them in over a month. We're good.

korey08XLT- 12-21-2009

That's good. My local Toys R Us ad stated they have them. I've also heard about people lining up @ 6:00 AM to buy them all. 4 weeks from now, they will be everywhere.

korey08XLT- 02-01-2010

Did you get any yet? Saw them at Walmart for $10 now. Justice also had them.

Update: On sale for $7.44.
Just saw the local ad.

stonemiser- 02-06-2010

Yeah, sorry guys, I actually got them at Walmart about a month ago for $5 each. Bought 4 of them. 2 for each kid. Makes me happy I had the patience to wait it out. Kids like them and didn't even notice that Santa didn't bring them this year.
