I can't speak for the NKGs, and I certainly won't pass myself off as knowing more than a Ford Tech but from what I was repeatedly told and by my own experience with not using Motorcraft plugs on my Trac, I can only say this.
Just swallow! Better to swallow once than to swallow twice, after the butt ream!
quoted for truth!
Get Autolite Platinums from Wallyworld or any autoparts dealer. No need to pay dealer prices like that. I would stay away from anything else. I'm serious, there have been quite a few ST owners that have done this type of "swap" and later had to go back in and do it over.
And sounds like a plan. My cousin has said that he doesn't see a lot of ST's. lol He says the F-250's (and Edge as of late) are his most popular clients. But...that being said, I would have to go with what people who actually have them and have 'lived experience' with them.
Cuz as we all know, street knowledge can sometimes be better than book
knowledge...hence why I'm coming here asking for advice lol. Although, I'm sure I could get my coz to send me the book diagram for swapping plugs...hahah
When it comes time to change plugs, you 4.0 guys can be thankful. It's much worse & more $ with the 4.6 3V. My other vehicle (Hemi) has 16 plugs -- that need to be changed every 30K. You can feel sorry for me now :)
