A/C wont work
hi i have an 07 sport trac limited. the A/C doesn't work anymore .
why is this.
could be multiple reasons...low on freon, bad compressor, bad dryer, etc.
Explain the problem more, does it not work at all or does it just blow hot air?
probably just needs freon, but if it doesn't last very long then you've got a leak somewhere...which is when you'll probably want to take it somewhere to have it checked.
btw, how many miles do you have, cause you still may be under warranty...in that case, make the Ford place fix it!
what is freon is it bright yellow or green like florescent
it has 24K
not sure the color, but mechanics put dye in your system to find the leaks...but with your truck only having 24k miles, I say take it to your local Ford shop and let them fix it for free (cause it should still be under warranty)
Are you still under warranty? If so, take it in.
when i was driving in the deep snow it had rubbed of on the snow so i am guessing that it had leaked and then was sitting on the skid plate and then when the skid plate hit the snow it rubbed off

no where is the refrigerant
The refrigerant is what runs through the lines/compressor/condenser/evaporator. That photo is of the compressor.
